My Review:

5 HUGE stars! Another new Favorite book! This book blew my mind. I sat and could not stop until I finished. I was completely engrossed and invested in the outcome for Callum and Harper. What a story. I Loved every single thing about this book. I don't have one complaint about it. It was wonderfully written, the storyline was ahmazing and original, it was funny, emotiona. gripping. All of it was great. The Dialogue between characters was great and intersting. i especially loved being able to read what the characters were thinking but not saying. It was just wonderful. I can't seem to find the words to explain how great this book was. Harper and Callum. What a life they lived. Homeless, Jobless, almost Possessionless, and life just kept throwing them more curve balls. But they never stopped fighting. They were a force to be reckoned with together. With their support of each other and their will to live they found a semblance of happy. Until he came along. I hated watching the wrench get throw into their misfit machine. It was horrible. Nothing anyone deserves and especially not them. My heart hurt for what they went though but I just kept falling more in love with them and all the characters of this book. Oh the pull between them! Wait till you get pulled into this book and you will see what I mean. Their love is just electric. this is one of those book you just can't put down. Callum is strong and protective in everything he does. He is resourceful, smart and a gripping chharacter. His Love for Harper floors me. It is unwavering and beautiful. He is one of those fictional characters you fall in love with from the start. Harper is the same way. Though scared and with no idea what to do Harper is a spitfire. She's sassy and complicated. Just a wonderful character. They complement each other perfectly. Though she's fragile in her strength Callum is always there to make sure she doesn't break. Its a wonderful thing to see. I know some people don't like seeing the female lead be weak sometimes, but I thought it was realistic in all aspects. After what she lived through, and what she's going through everyoen is entitled to be scared and have their moments. Especially her. Just wonderful characters. I really can't say enough good about this book. I don't wait to give any spoilers but I just want to shout form the roof how wonderful it is and how you all need to go read it. Like I wrote about. GREAT story, great characters, easy and gripping writing. The chapters are perfectly put together. Everything about this book is good in my opinion.

Synopsis:

Life sucks for orphans Callum Tate and Harper Bailey. Kicked out of their foster homes because they suffer the 'eighteen disease' with nothing but a hundred dollar check from the government and a pat on the back, they're forced to rely on a system that failed them miserably. So they sit. They sit inside Social Services, waiting for their social workers to call their names and offer them the miracle they know will never come but they sit anyway because they have nowhere else to go, no other options on their very literal and figurative empty plates. But as they sit, they notice the other. Although captivated, they each come to the conclusion that life is complicated enough without throwing in a boiling tension that can't ever be acted upon because they're both too busy thinking about where their next meal will come from but when their names are called and both are placed on a year long waiting list for permanent housing, suddenly relying on each other seems like a very viable plan B. And, oh, how lovely Plan B's can be. Well, except for the psycho from Harper's past that haunts her and, oh, yeah, there's the little issue that neither of them knows they're in love with the other. Needless to say, Callum & Harper's life just got a bit more complicated. “One day, you and I are gonna’ wake up and be alright. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but one day. One day. I promise you.” - Callum Tate
