Hold on to Hope by A.L. Jackson

Hold on to Hope by A.L. Jackson

I absolutely loved this read. I always know AL Jackson will bring the feels but will simultaneously deliver a sweet read that's a plot you can't turn away from. Throw in characters that absolutely wiggle their way into your heart. and you will be completely hooked.

One night. I read this entire read in ONE night. I fell for the characters Hard and the big spoilers that happen rather early on in the book completely sealed it for me. This is a second chance romance that pulls at your heart strings. When Evan walked back into the picture I swear my heart skipped a beat. I loved being inside each of their heads in this. You got such a clear picture about what everyone was feeling it as a fun way to read it. I also loved the childhood flashbacks here and there that sold this story completely for you. The author did a fabulous job of seamlessly blending them and they didn't feel cumbersome. This is one of those book thats gets your heart racing but delivers the perfect HEA at the end. LOVED IT.

Synopsis:

A best friends-to-lovers, stand-alone romance from New York Times Bestselling Author, A.L. Jackson . . . Evan Bryant wasn't your typical hero. But he was mine. Broken by the worlds’ standards, he was still the strongest boy I would ever know. My best friend. The boy I’d given everything to. My heart, my body, and the promise of forever. The day I’d needed him most, he walked away. He left me shattered and questioning the love I’d thought we’d shared. Three years later, I wasn’t prepared for him to return to Gingham Lakes. It wouldn’t have mattered if he wasn’t the most beautiful man I’d ever seen. My fingers still would have ached to caress his skin. My body still would have begged to get lost in his touch. And my heart . . . it would have always sung his name. But time changes things. With it, secrets that could ruin everything. Can we find a way to love again, or have the fears of our past stolen the hope of our forever . . .
