Love At First Sight by Kelly Elliott

Love At First Sight by Kelly Elliott

Kelly did it again. She pulled my heart strings and it was beautiful. If I need to smile and cry a little and smile more? I grab one of her books. This was a beautiful surprise in my mailbox.

I love cowboy reads and I love HEA. Throw these two together and I love the book right off the bat. This one was perfection. Rip and Chloe were everything that I needed. I loved these two. I loved the back and forth and that I could sit back and joy enjoy this read. This is a second chance romance that was everything. It was sweet and romantic, and like I said, the banter was Elliott level. I like a read where the hero isn't crazy alpha. That isn't always relatable or honestly, true. I loved that Rip felt like someone I could know ad I like that their reactions felt honest. It was a nice change of pace for me.

Synopsis:

From New York Times best selling author, Kelly Elliott, comes a new series her WANTED fans will adore. Filled with love, hope, and second chances, LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, is book one in the Southern Brides series. Each book in this series will be stand alone books. Love at first sight. That’s what it was when Rip Myers came up to me in kindergarten. From that point on, we were inseparable best friends. When I work up the courage to tell Rip I love him, I am met with rejection. He tells me he treasures our friendship too much. That statement might as well be a knife to my heart. I want to hold out hope that he’ll change his mind. Instead, he moves on. The only choice I have is to pretend that doesn’t slay me. So, I say yes…to the man I love. But he isn’t the man I’ve been in love with nearly my entire life.
