Guys, this book was a mind-fuck and I loved every single page of it. If you are a fan of Tarryn Fisher, than dive not this because it is right up your alley. Whitney SHINES in this story about a metal ill woman who's demons just cannot be laid to rest. This novel spans a relationship that consumes you. Six and Mira's relationship isn't a quick one. This read spans years and a multitude of trials. Mira is mentally ill and her illness is one that truly affects every aspect of who she is. Unable to pull away from Six, Mira finds herself with a man that is everything she didn't want and everything that she needs. Mira was, well, Mira. I went back and fourth on her and truly still don't know how I feel about her. I did however, love how much we were in Mira's head. Someone like Mira doesn't experience life the way someone who isn't mentally ill, does. So why should her story read like that person. Six is an enigma in her story. A fly on the wall that sometimes becomes the center of her focus and other times remains out of focus completely. That fact does make it a little hard to get to know him, but This was such an emotional read that even if we didn't experience the love story like we thought we would, we did it the way we needed to. This novel shines a light on a topic that not many write about and it rocks you. I was unable to stop reading. I was compelled. I had to know what happened next. Now, I can't wait for the next book and I know it is going to feel like forever. Stellar. This novel as fantastic Dark and truthful and just UGH! Buy On Amazon: To Come Add To Goodreads

Synopsis:

Six wasn’t the hero I needed. But he was the man I wanted. And it was my selfish craving, the desire to own him, that would be our undoing. No one tells you that love is a disease. An infection that tears your heart apart, leaving you half the person you were before. A malady that leaves open wounds. An invisible disorder tracing scars in the places you couldn’t see if you weren’t looking for them. I was sick, but love didn’t heal me. Instead, it festered in my marrow, and drove me to unforgivable mistakes. Six was my first mistake, but he wouldn't be the last.
