What did I think?
Another novel that brings on the butterflies. Samantha Young wows in this novel. Welcome to the story of Jessica and Cooper. You won't want to turn away, because this novel is beautiful.
After finding some letters at work, Jessica decides to spend her vacation returning them to their intended recipient. 40 years later. As soon s she gets to Hart's Boardwalk, she meets Cooper. SWOON. I feel for him off the bat. We ALL know where this is going to go, but its all of the in between that really gets you.
The journey to these two characters getting together was beautiful. Reading this novel is like watching a Lifetime movie. Every detail is perfect and it keeps you engaged and in love page after page.
Other reviewers said the start was slow, but I loved the way it built for us. I thought it felt real and beautiful. It builds the world and takes you with it on the journey or discovering everything. This book leads the perfect start for the rest of the series and fans of Samantha's will love this as much as I did.
