As a HUGE High Fantasy/YA Fantasy fan, this novel was phenomenal. Fans of Sara J. Maas will love this series. It is completely its own world and like nothing I have ever read before.

I want to be IN this story. I was to BE Cyrene. From the very first page of this novel it was gripping. I held off on reading until book two was here because I KNEW that I was going to want to jump right into it.

The world that the author has constructed is not only complex and beautiful, it is done page by page so you aren't flooded with detail all at once. It was a world that she built from the ground up in a beautiful way that makes you want to jump on a plane to visit.

The characters in this book are GREAT! There were so many fantastic secondary that I don't know who I loved the most. From the other affiliates, to the first order, they were all great. I need more and I need it now.

The love story woven into this novel was even better than the mystery of Cyrene. You don't be able to turn away. I don't want to give anything away, but I will tell you this. Fall in love. Read the book.
