What is it with me and heart wrenching reads guys. This is like 5 in a row for me. I just can't. Well. Apparently I can because I devoured this book. I also cried. So you have been warned.
This is hands down the best novel that I have read ever from Leigh. I would have said that about every other book she has written but I had not read this one yet.
I don't know about you but I was dying for Vaughns read. But this book, it wasn't what I thought it would be at all. This book was so full of hurt and secrets that you absolutely don't see these twists coming.
Vaughn isn't who you think he is. I mean, he is just like his dad. There is so much going on in his head that you don't see coming and once you start to peek behind the curtain, you can turn away.
Then we had Lenora. You can't even begin to guess whats coming with her either. You really need to go into this book blind. You need to not read reviews other than to know that this is everything you are hoping it will be. IT digs deep and uncovers hidden secrets that no one sees coming.
It is a story that throws some curve balls at you that you don't see coming and doesn't prepare you for the eventual life changing shifts that are caused by them.
Buckle in. This book was everything.
