A Beautiful Mess by T.K Leigh Review!
Meg's Review:
I started this book because so many fans had put Alexander as their Favorite Alpha Male. Now any man who gets those type of votes needs to be known by me. Thus I one-clicked and quickly got love in the Boston world of Alex and Libby. A very twisted and interesting storyline that really had me turning pages to unfold. Olivia is 28 years old and many tragic years ago at the age of 6 her life was ripped away from her and she remembers nothing. Alex remembers it all. His best friend dying all those years ago and yet he still sees her face everywhere. This book is a journey to the truth and two lovers finding each other after so many years and being unaware. Well. Mostly. It's a very edgy story with lots of twists and turns and certainly hidden agendas. Not only doesn't Olivia remember anything, but the men that had something to do with that tragic day, they are after something. That "Something" is something that her mind has forced her to forget people were ever looking for. Bad guys. Good guys. True love. This book has it all. Oh and did I mention the SEX! After many a chapter of angst and tension we finally make it to the bed and boy it is HOT! I'll take that tension for that prize any day."By the time I'm through sweeping you off your feet, you will be bursting at the seams, begging me to fuck you, never wanting another man inside you again."I was very much into the book and on the edge of my chair, and ti ended. Just like that. Gah! I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment of this series :) I am most certainly a beautiful mess after reading this book. In a great way.
Amy's Review:
Wow! Opening up this story for the first time, all I knew was it was a new contemporary suspenseful romance. Boy did it deliver :)
Olivia Adler is a woman lost, that is how I would describe her. After losing her parents when she was very young, she has traveled through life as an empty shell. She has allowed few friends in and ran from everyone who tried to get close. Moving often and in a hurry has caused her to stay locked inside her own personal hell. One true friend, Kiera, is a amazing. Funny, witty, sexy, the kind of girl friend every girl wants to find. Someone who snaps you out of your own mind and forces you to deal with the hard things in life.
Alexander Burnham, well hell, I am not sure what to say about him. He infuriated me most of the book and I love him for it. He is passionate and loving and domineering. Filthy rich, with no shortage of women around, he is a prime bachelor. Alex has an equally brutal past. Growing up, his father was absent, his best friend and her parents died, he went off to be a Navy SEAL and escape.
Finding each other, Libby and Alexander have an instant connection. The both feel like they have known each other their entire life .. have they?
Libby's flight reflex and Alex's protective reflex battle through the entire book. Dealing with bad guys, good guys, heart aches, the past, the present, the future .. its all too much. This book is full of twist. So many I couldn't even begin to explain if I had the time. A Beautiful Mess is the perfect name for this book. So many secrets and assumptions I could barely keep the facts straight. This certainly was a suspenseful book! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading and I love that about a book. T.K. Leigh has a magical gift. Her ability to paint a picture with words is fabulous. I became an instant fan.

A Tragic Wreck
Amazon|GoodreadsAmy's Review:
Thank goodness we received an ARC to read immediately following A Beautiful Mess. All I can say is, A Tragic Wreck was equally as moving.
A Tragic Wreck pics up immediately where A Beautiful Mess leaves off. Alexander is searching for the woman who has stolen his heart. Olivia is hiding from life, from love, from everything. Alex and Libby revert to old habits and find them self both in a bad situation.
Libby has always just ran. When the going gets tough, she is out. Feeling too strongly for Alex she flees to Florida. Sitting alone day after day, she is so lonely. Meeting a local surfer, she hopes this new friend will pull her out of the slump. She begins running again, she beings playing music and she starts to hope her pain is over.
The only thing Alexander has ever know was women. Sleeping with them, domineering them and pushing them aside to make room for the next. Unfortunately when Libby flees from Boston, he is heart broken. While his staff searches for her, he finds himself comforted by an old flame. Alex knows his heart still belongs to Libby, but what do you do when the one person you love tosses you to the ground and stomps on your heart?
I stood up and cheered with everything I had hoping Alexander and Olivia would work things out. If they started being honest with each other, totally honest with each other, would they be able to stay together through thick and thin? I was praying the answer was yes.
Dreams that Olivia has had since a child, since losing her parents start to change. These dreams are morphing into imagines of a time she no longer remembers. Questioning if these imagines are true, she starts to question everything.
I love the way this book kept me engaged the entire time! It will be a long five months until the final book in this trilogy is released and I can not wait until I read those pages. T.K. Leigh has done it again. I will be recommending this book to everyone!
