I love this series! If you are looking to jump into a new series, I definitely suggest giving the Corp Security guys a try. The books to date, in order, are Axel, Cage and now Beck. I recommend reading them in order :)
Beck is ... beautiful. He is confident, handsome, and fiercely loyal. We originally met Beck in Axel and I truly was in love with him then. I have been (not so) patiently waiting for his story to come out. Beck is pure sex, ex-marine, current corp security. He has an amazing family of loving sisters and he gave his heart to a girl who is in denial.
Dee is the bomb.com. I think I would be her BFF. For years, she has put her friends first and learned to live within herself. It's a lonely life :( Dee is super smoking and has built a brick wall around her heart . Beck is desperately hanging on for any scrap Dee with throw him ... or is that just how it seems??
Beck has so many layers. The book deals with death, depression, love, happiness, realization, loyalty .. the list goes on. I found myself gasping for air at certain points, laughing out loud at certain points, crying the ugly cry at certain points. I will not give away any spoilers, but be warned, this book is a roller coaster ride. I am sad how the book ended, but I feel like this sets up book 4 to be over the top amazeballs. Harper has a wonderfully creative gift. She knows how to pull your heartjuuuuuuuuuust to the edge of the cliff and then pull you back. She has a way of wording her character development which makes you feel a part of the story. Picturing the hair, the eyes, it's like watching a movie unfold. I loved this book so much! I am so excited to be a part of this blog tour and hope I will be apart of the next (hint, hint, Harper)
