So I got the honor of going and hearing the infamous Maggie Stiefvater speak. It was WONDERFUL. She was entertaining and engaging, while at the same time truly gave all of her fans the feeling that she wanted to be there. We got to hear amazingly fun stories through out the talk that helped give the audience a true picture of what a "Day In The Life" was for Maggie. She talked about the infamous time she raced John Green *Cough FIRE*Cough and about fun stuff like her husband and Ugly Babies. We got NO spoilers for The Raven King, which was amazing. I was hoping their wouldn't be any as I haven't finished the book yet. So YES. Spoiler free. Maggie was having so much fun that the librarians had to nudge her to start questions because we were running out of time. I could have listened to her for another hour. She was Happy and excited to be here in Denver with us on this tour and I loved it. For the signing portion is was CRAZY. They had to limit it to 2 books per person because the event had so many people attending. I grumbled a bit at this but I could see the reasoning. I waited an hour in line and their were still at least double that amount of people left, that had been in front of me. This didn't seem like a chore for her, she seemed genuinely to be having fun and I LOVED that. We all got to sign a car cover for her and that was pretty cool as well. I got my books signed and in the end it was FANTASTIC. On my way out I sweet talked one of the librarians into giving me one of the signs, because, well, who wouldn't want a fun souvenir like that! So go buy the books. They are wonderful and so is she! This is the Synopsis for the 4th and final book in the Raven Cycle: The Raven King, Out now. Goodreads|Amazon Nothing living is safe.
