Favorite Quote:

"I would kill myself if I killed her, so his services wouldn't be needed."

"Damn," she murmured with wonder, "That was truth."

"It goes both ways," I stated instantly, still staring at the floor. "I'd do the same."

This novel was phenomenal. Scarlett's best work yet IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. We jumped back in head first and didn't bat an eyelash until the book was done. This novel took the reigns and you were off on an adventure you would never want to leave. If you are reading this I am hoping that you have read the first 3 novels in the series. Though not COMPLETELY needed, you should do so before reading this. Scarlett has a talent in her writing that you don't see often these days. No matter how many characters or situations you encounter, you never read the same thing twice. No two characters in ANY of the books give you that deja-vu feeling you find so often in the current book world. Each character in unique to themselves and completely different than any you have read before. I was a little worried jumping back in with the best set of prodigies, but that was completely unfounded. Their relationships and situations are completely their own. This donut's feel like a retell, or a rush for another book. This novel is a story that needs to be told and you wont be soon forgetting it. Caro's story is a rough one and one that I could not tear myself away from. This is the type of novel you SHOULD NOT start reading before bed. I am warning you now that you will NEED to finish it. You wont have a choice. So much happens and so much is going on that you have to know what comes next. Throw in these Hot-and-Bothered-Brooding-Men and you REALLY can't turn away. ChosenTeaser I Loved every second of it. We were graced with a different set of relationships in this novel that really test the limits. My favorite character didn't even end up being one of our main four. Fancy that! The supporting cast and recurring characters from the past gives you that link to the earlier books, while still giving this story its own light to shine in. We are surrounded by Scarlett's exquisite writing skills time and time again throughout this plot. You never know if she will having you laughing hysterically or holding your breath. It is a talent I hope she never loses. This is a novel that you need to get lost in. Grab a bottle of wine and some cookies, this one is in typical Dawn fashion. It leaves you excited fro the next novel but not too much on a cliff hanger. Scarlett's perfect blend of torture. I cannot wait to see where this series goes. I am unsure as to what I will do once it is finished. I am for sure a fan.
