My Review:
Even better than the first you ask? YES! This book took the series to a whole new level. It dove into the depths of Damien and Nikki. This book goes deeper into Damien's dark past. Passion, pain, need, and scars.
This book starts off right where the second left off. Thank goodness lol. Happily Ever After is in the view and we just can't wait for it. With the beautiful painting complete what comes nest for them? Love. They don't want this to end so they don't let it. Nikki finally feels okay with herself and her past whens he is with Damien and he is her rock. They both need each other on many levels.
Then, life, or well people in it, throw them some major curve balls. The News, Paparazzi, pasts, and futures all hang in the very breakable balance in their lives. They are faced with some big choices. Face whats being thrown at them together, of give up. I thought they handled themselves well through all this.
I Liked that fact that the problems in this book were what they were. It added another level to Damiens' and Nikki's relationship. There are some major things they need to come to terms with. Damien has some things from his torrid past that he is forced to confront head on, while at the same time Nikki has a lot of self discovery to work on. She is finding herself, while Damien is facing himself. Its a tough situation, but at least they had a lot of super hot and yummy sex to help them through it.
Well the ending. Yeahhh the ending. This book follows a predictable-ish path through about 90% of the book. Then there is the last 10% WTF!?!?! I have to wait for how long till the next book!! don't get me wrong. Its a GREAT ending and will hold you over till the next book, but with that ending you know that there is going to be some BIG things right off the bat in the third book. There just has to be. <3 So Go buy this book!!! Its just as great as the first <3
