I went GAGA over this book. I have seen it on my Facebook move than once and finally grabbed dit during this most recent sale. I now want to kick myself because I hadn't read it before now. This book was FANTASTIC. Life changing. If you are a fan of re-imagined fairy tales, or ever anything fantasy, this book is going to do it for you. I honestly think most readers period would enjoy it.
A highly developed novel that drops you into this alternate universe that you NEVER want to leave. If I could jump into this book today I would. Heck, we might be living in it now and not even know it.

Heather Lyons takes an idea and spins it into a highly crafted novel that you are enveloped in page after page. You hurt for these characters when they hurt and you cheer when they prevail. I found myself utterly lost when the book ended. I couldn't ever give it a day before I jumped into book two. I knew I had to see where it was going to go.
Alice. She is nothing like the stories portray her, and is everything you imagine she can be. A ruler. A queen. A heroine that will sacrifice everything she loves time and again to protect those she cares for. Then her world is turned upside down. Again. Or is is right side up at long last? You can decide for yourself.
Then we have Finn. I ADORED him as a character. True to his faults and even more true to the strengths you want to shine in him. He is loyal till the end and not bad on the eyes either. I was in love with him from the very first chapter and as the book went on that only grew.
throw in some secondary characters in this rag tag literary gang and you wont forget any of them soon. Each character has their tale to tell and boy are they stories that will strike home. I can't say enough good things about this book. Bravo. I can't wait to read more. The Collectors' Society was a wild ride from the very first page and promise it isn't a ride you will want to get off of.
