My Review:

I was so in love with this series and am So sad to see it end. It deserves the 5 shining stars plus another 5 for being so friggen epic. We pick up right where we left off with Damien facing the charges that could rip his life out form under him. Charges that could expose all of his past and steal his whole future: Nikki. Nikki is by his side where she belongs helping him fight this battle that looms in front of them. Though their relationship is under mounds of stress from this trial, they continue to hold on to each other, their saviors at the end of every day. Nikki has battled her demons. We have been with her for the fight and now its Damien's turn. He has never hidden his demons. its something he fights everyday. He has worked his whole life ensuring that these demons stayed in the past where they belonged. He became the amazing, strong, possessive, assertive man he is today with his past in the past, until someone thought it time to bring it to light. Someone trying to drag him back to the past, back to when it all began. Nikki is Damien's rock in this story as he was hers in their past mountains to climb. She is his force. She fights for him and we are their when others try and force her to crumble. She is finally starting to get on her feet business wise, love wise, and life wise in general, and someone is trying to take the most important thing in her life: Damien. She is forced to fight for him in this book. She has hard decisions to make and we are with her every step of the way. This book had so many epic twits in it I thought I was going to get whiplash, in a good way. This book was surprise after surprise and I loved every second of it. We battled the demons and fought off the attacks to see these two together and I will be damned if this story didn't top it with a cherry. It was great. It had a lot of aspects towards the end that very much took me by surprise in a good way. As others have put it, this story is Unforgettable. This love that Nikki and Damien share is Unique and a real standout in its genre for me. I Loved it and will re-read this series many times in the future. Its a love that will never age.
