Yasmine writes a wicked good paranormal, and this novel was that and more. I have been addicted to this series for a good 4 years now. It always leaves me wanting more and this was NO exception! This novel takes us back to Menolly! I have to admit she is one of my favorites. I love her personality and I feel like even if I had neither of the other sisters I would be content. If you have read the other 17 books in this series, then this is the review for you. If not then please go back and read the rest of the books. This will contain spoilers for the series. The war is getting worse and everything is up in arms. With summonings, battles, kidnapping, and worse, this novel is chaos from start to finish. In the best way. I felt like this book answers all lingering questions and brings you 100% up to date on everyone. It gives you glimpses or both worlds and all of the changes the war has brought. From dragons flying free, to Shadow Wing and his army, this is the novel we have been waiting for. This might be my favorite of the novels so far. I can't express enough. The emotional rollercoasters that we are taken on through the course of the book just had me in its grips time and time again. I can't wait to see where we go next. This novel goes leave you wondering what the heck is going on and what is going to happen to who. It is great! An erotic paranormal that has unmatchable writing. Darkness Raging. You can't beat it.

Synopsis:

The New York Times bestselling author of Panther Prowling returns to the Otherworld where one of the D’Artigo sisters faces a terrifying challenge that’s more personal than she ever could have imagined. We're the D'Artigo sisters: savvy half-human, half-Fae ex-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. My sister Camille is a wicked-good witch. Delilah is a two-faced werecat and a Death Maiden. And me? I'm Menolly, a vampire married to a gorgeous werepuma. As the war in Otherworld arrives, Blood Wyne, Queen of the Vampires, summons me. Apparently, my position as Roman's consort entails more than I imagined... As the Demon Lord Shadow Wing creates his own sinister version of the Keraastar Knights—the guardians of the spirit seals—to destroy the portals and free himself from the Sub Realms, his ally, the necromancer Telazhar, leads an assault from Otherworld into the streets of Seattle. And my sisters and I are caught dead center. Then, on the eve of war, my wife, Nerissa, is captured. The enemy demands we surrender the rest of the spirit seals, or they are going to kill her. I will do anything to save her. Even if it means leading an army of vampires into the very depths of the Subterranean Realms... NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED From the Paperback edition.
