Emblaze by Jessica Shirvington (Violet Eden #3)

5 Stars|Amazon|Goodreads

This series is heating up!! I am officially hooked on this epic series. Violet and Lincoln have earned their spot on my top lists and I can't wait to see where this series takes us next! For those unhappy with book two, this novel leaves you with NO doubts about the series or how wonderful it is going to be! I felt like this novel was explosion after explosion. No matter what Violet and Lincoln do, they find themselves one step behind Phoenix. In case there are still some of you on team Phoenix, you should be aware I am 100% NOT on his side. He is evil. Yucky. He needs what is coming to him and he needs to find that humanity he so easily tossed aside. Emblaze is a novel about facing the things right in front of you and staying strong. You can't run from everything and Violet knows this. She is ready to face the fires and do all she can to save those she loves. I wont drag out this review, if you are reading this is means you have already read the first 2 novels in this series. That means you are JUST as hooked as I am and will follow these character until the end. Don't give up hope guys, we WILL get our happy ending!

Once again Violet Eden faces an impossible choice ... and the consequences are unimaginable. Violet has come to terms with the fact that being part angel, part human, means her life will never be as it was. Now Violet has something Phoenix - the exiled angel who betrayed her - will do anything for, and she has no intention of letting it fall into his hands. The only problem is that he has something she needs too. Not afraid to raise the stakes, Phoenix seemingly holds all the power, always one step ahead. And when he puts the final pieces of the prophecy together, it doesn't take him long to realise exactly who he needs in order to open the gates of Hell. With the help of surprising new allies, ancient prophecies are deciphered, a destination set and, after a shattering confrontation with her father, Violet leaves for the islands of Greece without knowing if she will have a home to return to...
