Enrage by Rachel Van Dyken

Goodness I am so broken as I write this. We were warned and I still didn't want it to happen. I got so wrapped dup in the romance side if this story, I forget it was the mafia. Blood In, No Out. Thats what they say and in this novel, they truly mean it.

This is one of those novels that just has you so enamored with the plot line and all the angst, that when things start to get truly dark you try your hardest to savor each word before it all goes up in flames. Dante and El have SUCH a story to tell. The unbelievable slow burn in this book is enough to kill you. If there are two things Van Dyken excels at, they are The Mafia and her epic Slow Burns.

The deceit and the hidden agendas in this book killed me. I didn't want to love it. I wanted to mourn what I knew was going to happen. What I hoped wouldn't. In the end we got two stories that needed to be broached. A couple that was meant to happen and a story line that had reached it's end.

I am broken.

The next novel releases in February and that feels like so long to suffer before we get answers, but in the end this is the path of the Mafia and if you are anything like I am, you are in it for life.

Blood In, No Out. Thats the way it goes.
