Meg's Review:
Favorite Rock Star read in AGES! Becky blew me out of the water with this emotional and captivating read. I adored everything form the dialogue to the character development. This is a Must Read. Noah Lockton is living his dream thrust into the life of stardom after competing and winning a Musical TV competition. His life has jumped into the fast lane and he is on his way to living his dreams, but at what cost? His best friend Chloe is his number one fan and couldn't be happier to watch him live his dream. The key word being "Watch", as that is what she is doing.Best friends are a rare thing, and Noah and Chloe are of the rare breed. That rare type of friends that totally and completely fit together with both pieces being in denial of how perfect they are. Denial may be harsh, at least for these two. think at some points they are so perfect that it would be terrifying for anything to change. After Noah wins the contest and events bring Chloe out to N.Y. with him, she inevitably goes on tour with him. From this point in the novel it becomes a page turner. You are on endue waiting to see when this sexual energy and palpable angst is going to force the characters to combust. Alas, even with all of this you still feel a little broken for these two. It hurts you to read about who life and love just keep putting things in the way of this from ever developing. People, events, the tour, you name it. Life. Life is continuing on around these two even when they wish it would stop and let them think for just a day. Sometimes having just that moment to think, or both think for that matter, can be what changes everything."Noah was always going to shine. He was always going to be mine. But sometimes even I forget the way things were before we was famous."
This is not your run of the mill rock star romance. So please give it the change it has earned. Noah and Chloe do not have that boy meets girl, boy and girl fight, happily ever after story that we are so used to. Noah and Chloe has a story that i about pain and truths. It is a story that forces you to feel the truth in so many decision that the characters make. Adding the music and the inside jokes in this story, and it makes for an excellent and compelling read. I am grasping for more from this author."You don’t know how his arms felt wrapped around me when my world came crashing down..."
Before He Was Famous has made my Must Read list, Add it to yours."For all our talk of faith and trust Our lives are made of pixie dust"

Synopsis:
From International Bestselling HarperCollins Author, Becky Wicks, comes a new adult romance that will leave you starstruck.***Warning: this book contains graphic language, sex, and mature situations. Not intended for young adult readers.***
One guy, one girl. One in the spotlight. One in the shadows.
Falling in love with your best friend isn’t always a great idea, especially when he’s Noah Lockton - the sexiest, most famous new talent on the planet. When 21-year-old small-town photographer Chloe Campbell is offered the chance of a lifetime – to join her celebrity childhood friend Noah on tour as an exclusive blogger for a New York magazine – she’s certain both have put what happened four years ago behind them. But his eyes still burn; his voice is still a jackhammer to her heartstrings; all his songs are about her. Is it possible that that night still haunts them both?
The music industry is a machine, spinning hype and rumors as much as his records. It’s not just Noah’s girlfriends who’ve got it in for Chloe (there’s no stopping the Twitter-obsessed, cat-loving pop-star Courtney Lentini for starters). Pretty soon, the jealousy and media frenzy surrounding these so-called-friends takes a life-changing turn and it seems making love means making enemies at every turn. When tragedy threatens to pull the final curtain on their relationship, both Chloe and Noah must make a choice. As much as this world leaves them starstruck, is living their dream really worth living without each other?
A story of lifelong friendships, love and hope, set in a world of celebrity, fame and social media gone very, very wrong.
