This novel was absolutely stellar. I couldn't put it down once I started. It has a seamless transition from one chapter to the next and takes you the full corse of emotions. Other than the cover obviously showing it, you have no real pointer that this is written by multiple authors. It was WONDERFUL. Hilarious, emotional, hot, and hooking. Everything I want in a book. No, not that type of hooking. Get your head out of the gutter. The kind that means once I start the book I can't put it down!
Verity and Hudson's story was epic. Not because it was a perfect love story, and not because it was something you didn't see coming. This love story was epic because of the story itself and its characters. They had me in stitches chapter after chapter. My absolute favorite part had to be the twitter posts. I was DYING laughing from them. They are so real life that it just killed me.
Being in Verity's head while this whole ordeal was happening was a real treat. You got to "hear" all the embarrassing stuff we swear we never think or say, and all the while get to laugh along with Verity about it.
(Okay, sometimes we were laughing at her, But when it came to that skirt and some of those posts she kind of had it coming. #PoundHudson)
Then there was Hudson. I loved how with each and everything author that wrote Hudson, he got his own twists. He was a real treat. Tatted from head to toe, he was everything that you want in a bad boy, except for just like the ones we always love, he was true in his heart. A white knight.
This story was great. Fast paced and full of fun little adventures (and felonies). I never knew what was coming next. When I finally started getting answers it got better and better.
The boxes. Once we knew what were in the boxes it was Game On.
I highly recommend this. From some Best Sellers, to some Brand New authors, this novel as hilarious and brilliant. A great treat! Nina Bocci Shines in her writing with this. I really hope we get more from her soon!
