Meg's Review:

I swear I highlighted half this book while reading. Favorite Quote:
"To the marrow of his bones, he resented that he couldn't take away her pain or go back in time and prevent that bastard from ver toughing her. He was a hell of a lot better at tearing people apart than he was at putting them back together."
I was a huge fan of Gina's after her first two novels, and was on my toes waiting for this one. I somehow missed the release, but alas I will redeem myself by telling you just how great this book was. I Love a great romance, I mean doesn't every girl? But Gina does romance with a twist. There is alway something going on to keep it interesting. This novel is about facing your demons and your past. It shows the story of two people who have to stop running from their lives and live. Irish tells himself he is just helping a friend, but really, he would have done anything to leave Boston. Kat is hiding and thinks she is safe, until she isn't. She doesn't want help, and is determined to continue running. They need each other more than they know. Irish has no intentions of doing anything other then the job, but sometimes life has other things planned. I swear they unspoken sexual tension in this book was suffocating. In a good way. You yearn for these characters to stop being stubborn.
"As long as I'm around, no one touches you without an invitation." Unable to help himself, he lowered his head and whispered in her ear, "No One."
These characters! They are the type of characters you find yourself really relating to. Real life people that you want to have in your world. They are well rounded and real in the way you can see yourself in their mannerisms. A lot of *SMH I have Totally done that* moments for me in this book and series as a whole. Gina stays true to her previous writing in the fact that this is stellar. The plot develops at a good pace and the story itself isn't hard to follow. I like that even with having an idea of where it is going, you still never see her twists coming. FFIrish
