Furious Rush by S.C Stephens

My Thoughts:

This novel might be my new favorite motorcycle read! S.C Stephens puts you in the driver's seat in a fast paced romance that is so very much more than a book about racing. This book is about fighting for your dream, while carrying the weight of your family on your shoulders. It is a story about accepting love when you find it, and not letting life stop you. I couldn't get enough of it. A story about a girl who will do anything to live her dream as a racer, while also saving her family's racing company. She is Brutal in her love for family just as she is vicious on the track. Furious Rush is the perfect name for a book that never stopped from start to finish. You get adrenaline rushes as you read about the races and hunt as the characters try to uncover what is really going on behind the scenes. Who is sabotaging who, and why? Can Mackenzie really win it? Is Hayden really that dreamy? I couldn't put the book down First of all, plot aside, the characters in this story were SO GREAT! I wanted to simultaneously hug and choke the heroine every page. Mackenzie Cox is not a girl you want to mess with. She has a plan and she has a goal. NOTING can stop her from achieving it. Well, nothing but life. Her reactions drove me BATTY, but in the same breath, they were EXACTLY how I would have reacted to almost EVERY situation she was in. It was an eerie feeling and added such an extra layer to the book! Throw in the fact that she is a BADMAMAJAMA, and I adored her. It was such a fun ride to see how she developed throughout the book. Furisou Rush Then we had Hayden Hayes. *Swoon* I am NOT a swooner person. I highly dislike it actually. But he does it. He makes you swoon. He is a man with a past that haunts, and a man that will do anything for those he cares about. He is cocky, but not in a way I hated. I would actually rather use the term confident for him. He was a guy who hid intentions with sarcasm to blind you as to how real and caring of a person he was. He had his faults, as we all do, but in the end he was a man who loved as fiercely as he raced. SEE? SWOON. All in all this book is epic. I need more. I WANT more. I could easily read it again and not be bored at all. There are plenty of side plots developing and secondary storylines to be played around with, that this series can go SO MANY PLACES! I loved everything about this world. S.C. Stephens did a fantastic job building it up and I can't wait to read the next novel!
