I was consumed by this read. I got the ARC and read it completely in 1 day. A matter of hours. I could not stop reading. Ama put so much of herself into this book that you can feel it as you read. The life that was breathed into the pages.
When I was staging a photo for this I was torn in so many directions. This was a dark read and full or secrets and games. I mean, all part of the show right? But it was also full of life and I wanted to show that fact, that even with all the darkness, this show was beautiful.
Okay. Down to the story.
This was NOT the Elite Kings. It was dark and twisted and so much its own world that I devoured every page. I loved all of the eater eggs that were dropped into this book as well. They had me in stitches and I could not stop getting excited every time I spotted one.
But I got sidetracked again. THIS STORY. It hurt and it was raw and it was also so many surprises I am shocked I didn't have to get my heart checked after reading. If you have read ANY of Amo's other books then you should have some idea of what you are walking into. If you haven't, welcome to the show. You wont want to ever leave.
