I adore this book. It was a complete binge read and MIGHT abs my favorite alpha read this year! I forgot how strong of characters Nashoda writes! If you like sexy and a bit cocky, on top of yummy alphaness, here ya go!
Cocky alpha male with a background to support it? YES PLEASE! I want so much more from this world.I adore every single novel that Nashoda writes and this one? Might take the cake. I thought Kai was my favorite. I did. Then, it was Connor, now? I am sorry ladies, but they are all mine. I don't want to share.
This is hands down one of my favorite reads of the year. IT was full of action and romance and to top it all of, an alpha male who had the AUDACITY to be grumpy a over protective and just completely, GRUFF. I know. I KNOW GUYS.
I needed this book and I didn't even know it. I needed to see our old friends and check in with them. Most of all though, I need to feel the emotion that Nashoda crafts on the pages of her books.
She has such a talent with incorporating the dark into her writing that you feel the darkest and while you are accepting it, she fills you with such love. Her anti-heros, that are really all heroes in my head, are everything I love about this genre. Give me a sexy semi-dark romance with a heavy dose of back story and I will run with it any day.
