This was a super easy fun read. I am excited to see where the rest of the series brings this story. I am pretty sure I fell in love with Jack and Marissa by chapter 2. They are both feisty and passionate and say what they think. The writing was fantastic and the author truly made me feel like I was watching the story play out in a movie. I loved all the descriptions! To me, the story was pretty predictable. However, who doesn't love a great love story with a happily ever after?? Jack Who? possesses a lot of emotions; lust, chemistry, love, and confusion. To me, it was the perfect mix. Book two in this series is currently available and as soon as I have some down time I plan on reading. This was my first time reading a Lisa Gillis story and I seriously loved it :)------
Synopsis:
Marissa is a craps dealer, and in one quick second that she never wants to remember, her life turns to crap.
