Judgment Road by Christine Feehan

I Love MC reads and I love Christine Feehan even more. Throw them together and what do you get? EPICNESS. Reaper is the enforcer for the MC. Reaper is also not a people person, so when the new bartender catches his eye? Thats a big thing. Anya is running and she needs to stay hidden. What better place to hide that in an MC. Even if is isn't her world, it can help protect her, a means to an end. That back and forth and slow burn in this novel was fantastic. I loved that they fought things and I loved the compelling story even more. Page after page I was into this story. I was fighting or the HEA and some semblance of an OKAY for these two. This novel was brutal and dark and the secrets that came out, broke me while reading. But in the end it was exactly what I wanted. Emotionally gutting and absolutely in love with this dark and haunting story about torrid pasta and hurt no one should even endure.
