My Review:
Gosh I was so unbelievably excited to get the ARC for this book right after I finished book one. thank goodness I didn't need to wait, I may have gone slightly crazy. (Or, well more crazy. I wouldn't call myself calm when is comes to this series. It does that to a girl)
This book picks up right where we left off and Reid and Maddy sure have put themselves through the ringer already at this point. Right off the bat we are facing more hard decisions. New challenges, new confrontations, and new hurt. This book takes off with a bang.
I found that the problems in this book, the major hiccups that the characters face are very real. These characters are honest to goodness true life relatable. You really form a connection with them in the first book and in this second, we are immersed with them in this adventure of life troubles to happiness.
I got lost in the first book, and the second book was even better. The plot draws you in and its somewhere you don't want to escape from. The love you feel from the characters even when they are full fo hurt is astounding. Melissa has a way with her writing that makes you feel likes its a movie. Heck, real life. I felt like I was there for every part of the novel. Together with the characters you face love, fear, anger, joy, happiness, angst, the whole shebang.
The plot line in this book, well, both book is gripping. It keeps attention through both books and keeps you turning the pages. One of the key things for me in a great book is realism. I can't stress enough how real this book feels. The demons that are faced, the love that is expressed. It is very real. I give this a raving review and urge you to buy this book. its worth every single penny.
