Another Fantastic read from Kim Karr. If you loved the other book in the series, you will thoroughly enjoy this one. Kim Karr kicks it up another notch with Mended and its phenomenal characters. This is the story of Xander and Ivy. You get the jest of it in the synopsis, so I'm not going to blurb the story for you. What I will tell you is how fantastic it was and why you should read it.

Xander is the type of character that shows his flaws and owns them. He is also the type that could have any girl he wanted. Well any girl, but the one he truly wants. In this novel we conquer facing our past and conquering our futures. In order to move forward, these characters must own decision they have made in the past and its a wonderful thing to watch happen. Ivy is exactly as Xander describes her. She is that type of character that you can't help but also love. She's witty and strong, and even fierce when the necessity presents itself. Even with what life has thrown at her, she has managed not to become as jaded as most of us would. She's inspiring.

This is another Must Read from Kim Karr. Mended not only throws you into Xander and Ivy's journey, but back into River and Dhalia's. It's a read that sucks you in and doesn't let you go. I couldn't put it down. An emotional roller coaster that journeys you into the depths of what these character are feeling, and shows you what it truly means to be Mended.
