I read this in like 3 hours today. I started it and was completely sucked in. I feel like I should expect that with a Katy Evans, But I somehow forgot and this book kindly reminded me with a prologue that left me swooning.
This romance literally had so much angst I thought I would combust while reading. I swear I haven't read a book that had me so wound up with anticipation that I wanted to just jump in and throw a match because the chemistry between the characters literally could start a fire.
I know. That sounds like a lot, but I truly love books that I get squirmy and excited while reading and Lizzy and James were exactly that. I laughed with them and I completely fell in love with their story. Katy crafts a romance in suits that I completely was hoping for and completely wasn't prepared for at the same time.
This is one of those books that I swear I kept thinking certain things were going happen and then BAM, something completely different happened.
It was great. I can't wait to read more in this world!
