Gah. I needed a love filled just easy ride romance and this book delivered it. I loved Jasinda and Jack's storytelling and this novel shows that in spades.
Elyse and Jamie were wonderful. I love that this book tackled one of my favorite tropes. Elyse was a bit hesitant as a character and I loved that. As a mom myself fI completely got her emotions and her reactions and Jamie, SWOON LEVEL 10 y'all!
This is a lighter series than previous JW has written and I loved the change of pace. I drank a nice cup of tea and binge read his in on sitting. All the feels and a HEA that I loved. I can't wait to read more in this series. I love the fact that they are all standalone but that we will get this same feel of romance, its a perfect bedtime binge read.

Synopsis
When you’re from a place like Clayton, PA, you either leave as soon as you can, or you never leave. We can’t even say we’re a one-stoplight town, because we don’t have a stoplight, just a traffic circle on a minor local highway. Here in Clayton, everyone knows everyone, and gossip and rumors are a way of life.
So, when my high school sweetheart leaves our son and me for a woman in another state, it’s the talk of the town for months, if not years. Even my motor-mouthed, wild child of a best friend, Cora, can’t rustle up enough trouble to keep my name off their lips for more than a week or two.
So, when I meet a handsome, single man not from Clayton, I assume he’s just passing through.
