I was so excited to get this novella. I love when an authors gives us the preface to a story. The first meeting, or the buildup for the couple, can be such a fantastic mini read before diving in.
This was such a sweet read. There is something uniquely fun about this couple and I can't wait to get more from them. I am already hooked on Brooklyn and Drew and need more now! It is a good thing I already have book one.
This leaves me full of the hurt and emotion that book one is going to deliver. I am little broken but filled with the promise that more is going to come. TK gives you just a taste for this series and you will be as hooked as I am.

GAH! I knew that this novel was going to be ALL THE FEELS and it completely was. I mean first of all this hits ALL MY FAVORITE tropes, and second, I adore TK's writing. If you are a fan of second chance love, or Friends to Lovers, here ya go, you are welcome.
I asked for extra time to read this from the tour because I was behind with a trip. I didn't need it. The second I read Promise, I needed to read this and I needed to finish it. All of it. In one sitting.
Brooklyn and Drew took us on such a ride. I was rooting SO HARD for them from the very start. Well, things are certainly not easy and this was the wild ride that I wanted it to be. Marriage, Second chances, ALL THE FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS.
I needed an emotional kick and goodness this book packed such a punch! I can't wait to read the next novel.
