My review:

This book was referred to me by a fellow reviewer who just raved about it. I read her review and instantly added it to my list. GOSH I am happy I did. This book hit me personally and it will forever hold a spot in my top lists. This is the type of book that leaves you reeling for days after. Jumping into this book you are instantly introduced to Remy. Let me warn you *swoon* his entrance in the book is Hot. How I wished to be in the scene lol. In walks Remy for the Undergrounds Fight. Instantly he finds Brooke's eyes and its over form there. I could picture it perfect in my head and boy was it a nice picture to have. Meanwhile, you are also introduced to Brooke. After a tragic accident during her Olympic training Brooke is injured and must reinvent herself. This is where you meet her. She is just starting in her new career and finding what's next for her. This story was about overcoming ones past and allowing their present and future to happen. To have hope. With the problems that both Brooke and Remy have, this story unfolded wonderfully. I know it impacted me and it must have impacted others with how wonderful it is. Everything you see on the surface is not always everything. Mental Illness is a daily battle for those suffering from something. It is a hard life to live and it is something that was wonderfully explained in this book. Not only did Katy Evans handle this perfectly, she also tackled the fact that Brooke lost her dreams due to an injury. This is another thing that can be horribly handled and she proved she could do it.
“When you need to accept the fact that your body sometimes can’t do what you want it to, it hurts almost worse than the physical pain of being injured.”
This specific quote spoke to me. It was everything someone that has lost something as a result of their body feels but can never really put into words for others. On to another note this book was also filled with Sexual tension. I swear half the book i wanted to throw my ipad and just scream "Do it already!" It was infuriating and super hot all at the same time. Oh and the MUSIC! That just sealed the deal for me. Every song I downloaded and listened to if I didn't know it to get a better feel for the chapters. It worked just so ya know, I was even more tortured by the whole thing. *Hangs Head* It was great. I Love when a book leaves you hanging on every chapter like this one does. The book was perfectly written and I am super excited that we get more form this world. I can't wait for the next book <3 this book is a Game Changer <3 read it!
