Okay guys. You will have to hang in with me while I try to find words for this books. Lordy, this book was everything. I swear for half of it I was angry as all get out, and the rest of it I was in a puddle.
Meagan brought it with this read. We dive back into it right where we left off with the second in this trilogy and your heart hurts just as much.
Our trio goes through so much in such a short span with this read. They are forced to make decisions that they couldn't have possible prepared for, and in the wake of those decisions comes the chaos.
I don't want to give anything away in this review. I got the ARC and purposefully avoid all posts about the read because I myself wanted to experience it without anyone ruining it for me.
This book puts you on an emotional rollercoaster. Through each decisions that was made I understood what was happening even though I didn't like it. That is the part that made the emotions that much harder to drudge through. The fact that you as a reader, couldn't see any other options while you were reading.
Twists and turns that literally leave you screaming at the book and a second half that leaves you completely baffled for how you didn't see some twists coming.
Also, I swear I don't know what Meagan has in store for the next few books in this read but oh my goodness, the trouble that started to brew in this one left me so far on the edge fo my seat I almost fell off.
