review I absolutely LOVED this novel. I hadn't read Hard Ink, so if you haven't don't be worried this novel reads as a standalone as it is a spinoff. It was sexy, emotional. gripping and face paced. I love the way that Laura not only had a great story line, but managed to make the chaos feel like a normal occurrence in the world. It didn't feel forced of "fake" at all. Haven and Dare.
"Didn't mean to scare you," he said. Tall, dark, and brooding, he was rough sex on legs..."
SWOON to the max with these two. I was rooting for them from the very start. I loved the way they both sort of fought their feelings, but not really. It was fun. Each time they collided I was wondering if this was FINALLY going to be THAT scene, and when it did happen I got those butterflies you get while reading that tell you the author did a GREAT job building up the angst. Haven is running from her past. Desperate to find some escape she eventually lands with the Raven Riders and from there her life begins to change. With the help of Cora her best friend she finally starts to heal. To break out of her shell and experience life. It was fun to read and heartbreaking at the same time. You hurt for everything she went through and are simultaneously excited for the potential of her future. Then we have the impending Chaos. With Haven on the run you KNOW something is going to go down, it is just a matter of when. When that eventuality does come I could not look away from the book. BANK, CRASH, BOOM! Everything started to turn into chaos and it was wonderful. And Dare. He has his own past, but give him someone to save, throw in some real emotional he can't seem to fight, and add a dash of OFF LIMITS and we had the making for this epic fast paced read. A great read for any Romance lover. Just enough sexy for me that it felt normal but not a crazy amour that had you rolling your eyes. Perfect balance. Plus, Cora. I hope she gets a book. She BETTER! Loved her!synopsis Brotherhood. Club. Family. They live and ride by their own rules. These are the Raven Riders . . . Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon rides hard and values loyalty above all else. Haven fled from years of abuse at the hands of her criminal father and is suspicious of any man’s promises, including those of the darkly sexy and overwhelmingly intense Ravens’ leader. The past never dies without a fight, but Dare Kenyon’s never backed down before . . .follow
