My Thoughts:

A novel true to its name. Ruthless and full of thrills, this novel was a mess of chaos that I never wanted to leave. The revenge thrills alone kept me on my toes. Being the first book in a new series it did a wonderful job of absolutely hooking me line and sinker. Can we say Alpha? Riley, Drew and Brandon were both exactly that and more. These boys knew how to put down what I was picking up. I couldn't seem to get enough of them. While this novel is mainly about Riley, you still get a great dose of the rest of the Lawless clan. Riley is slick and smart. A dangerous combination. He is on a mission to infiltrate the company who's CEO killed him family. To do so he must get Ellie. The CEO's daughter. Except, things never really go as planned, do they? She is exactly what he needs and he doesn't even know it. Ellie hates her father. With Ellie trying to take over the company, and Riley trying to get Ellie under his fingers, it is a wild ride. Though romantic as soon. This book was non stop with secrets, hidden agendas, revenge, and betrayal. I couldn't get enough of the characters and am officially HOOKED on the plot line. I need MORE! Ruthless is exactly what I needed on a dark and boring night!
