Meg's Review:

This Novella is a fantastic start to the series and it hooks you quickly. Rowan grabbed my attention with his persona and ran with it. This novel is a quick read that draws you into the story and introduces you to this wonderful world that Stacey O'Neale has created. We follow Rowan as he is summoned back to court by his mother. She has sent word that she will be turning over carol of the Fire Court to him. Queen Prisma has not bent he best mother and Rowan is uneasy about this news from the start. Even before arrival he knows that he will face a choice that won't be an easy one no matter what it is.

"Every sacrifice has consequences."

This Shadow Prince is only about 70 pages long and it is a fantastic read. If you want to dip your feet into the Fae world I would highly recommend this novel as a start. It is free so grab it up. You will love Rowan and fall into this world with ease. ShadowPrince

Synopsis:

This prequel novella is FREE and available on Goodreads, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble!

Every sacrifice has consequences.

Sixteen-year-old Rowan has spent most of his life living among the mortals—learning to control the element of fire, impatiently awaiting the day his vengeful mother, Queen Prisma, will abdicate her throne. When he finally returns to Avalon for his coronation, his mother insists he must first prove his loyalty to the court by completing a secret mission:

Kill Kalin, the half-human, half-elemental daughter of the air court king.

Willing to do anything to remove his mother from power, he agrees to sacrifice the halfling. He returns to the mortal world with his best friend, Marcus, determined to kill the princess. But as he devises a plan, he starts to question whether or not he's capable of completing such a heinous task. And what price he will pay if he refuses?
