Gosh I really enjoyed this book. It was a book that really dealt with some hard issues, and I felt that they were handled very well by the author. Don't be deterred by them either, I also felt they added something to the novel. It was very well-developed and certainly kept my attention until he very last page. This is the book that you pick and as soon as you begin reading you can't put it down. It was fast paced and exciting, with some super romantic parts thrown in. The characters were well-developed. As with any Brooke Cumberland book even the characters we loathe are well-developed. It gives the book that extra punch to make it great. Eric and Velaney are one of those super romantic and super hot couples that you love to love. The book was a journey to get to know them and I loved every second of getting to know Eric. He was amazing and straight forward, and he was also not to much of an alpha to the point of being reminiscent of any other characters. A very original and incomparable male counterpart to he damaged heroine that is fighting to find inner peace. This book is also a journey to admitting when what you want most is right in front of you, and once you do that, you need to fight with all you have for it. An exciting and fast paced love story. One of my tops for the summer and definitely a new favorite. One click on friends., it's on sale :)
