AH this book finally takes us to Dev's homeland and it doesn't disappoint. With a slew of new characters and a few surprises we were all hoping for, this book is another fantastic example of the epic ness of Lexi Blake's writing.
All of the gang is back in action and on their way to meet their extended family on the other plane.
With that secret Zoey is hiding added to the fun of Declan, this novel don'ts disappoint. I loved the plots all running around in this one. Faerie is on the brink of War and someone wants it to go over the edge.
Death prophecies, secrets, alliances, and hidden agendas leave us with a novel that had me in tears more than once. I rode that train with Zoey and I felt everything she felt from the first page on with this book. It brought out all the emotion and forged a bond between our couple that won't be broken. I don't have a lot to say with this book. That isn't because it was bad, its because it was that good. I read it so fast that I can feel all the emotions still from it a day later.
Reading a war is one thing. Reading a war full of the characters you now count as family is something else. I can't wait for the final novel, as much as I can. I want our gang to find some little bit of peace.
