Beverly never ceases to amaze me with her novels and characters. JC and her story? Absolutely wonderful.

This series is full of novels that grip you emotionally and take you on an adventure that warms your heart. JC has always been one of my favorite characters in this series. Each and every time she makes an appearance I am left in stitches. Fun loving and carefree, JC lives her life to the fullest. She is a girl who deserves the perfect man, and she thinks she has found him. Expect for a few small things that she just can put a finger on. Then her life comes crashing down at the literal hands of the man who loved her.
"I feel like I'm over thinking every move I make. I keep waiting to feel normal again, but I don't. I'm afraid if I run into someone I know, they're going to see it written on my fave like a badge or disgrace."
Ahh. Enter wonderful Reed. I can't express how perfect he is for JC. He meets her at the perfect time, and most certainly has her work cut out for him. JC is broken. But not helpless. She doesn't want someone to save her, she just wants to feel normal again. Reed gives her exactly that. He doesn't treat her like glass and he doesn't push. What he does do however, is turn her world upside down. That rulebook that she lives by? Out the window.
Someone times what we need most, is something that we never saw coming. It is something that will rock our world and leave us reevaluating everything. For JC her world was turned upside in the worst way before her something found her.
I was wrecked reading this. I hurt for JC and wanted to just scream for someone to come and save her. Help her. Then, all I wanted was for her to be free. I wanted her to find herself again. Find a way to heal and be happy. Find her forever. Beverly delivers a story to us that rocks our hearts and has us in its thrall until the very end. A Must read.
