I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY with this novel. This novel was a first in the paranormal genre for me from Nashoda. I am a very big fan of her NA series, but haven't read anything like this from her before. I am now besides myself that I missed her other works! She shines in a completely different way with this novel and you don't want to miss it.
Diving into a paranormal book by an author I am accustomed to reading in the NA category I was a little nervous. Not all authors can cross genres, it is simply a fact. That is NOT the case with Nashoda. She excels in this series.
I feel the need to contact her again and demand more of these characters. They were expertly developed and very well presented. You were easily able to jump into this foreign world filled with new creatures without even batting an eyelash. The index that is provided in the front gives you a quick reference of all the odd terminology and are were off. I will even be honest, I didn't really read the index, I flipped through quickly and still had no issue. I did read it later and find out that is was VERY helpful though not really needed.
The characters in this world grab your heart form the very first page. When I fished that first chapter I knew that i had to have more of them. I needed to know what had gotten them to that point and why things were happening. It was a compelling and expertly grafted opening sequence that leaves you wanting more.

Even for those who aren't a big fan of the PNR genre, I still think you would enjoy this novel. It was a wild ride with a H-O-T alpha male that leaves you drooling. Really, I kid you not. This man is the epitome of the alpha hero we all love from Nashoda's other series.
This novel is a wild ride that doesn't stop. You are constantly on the run with the action and the angsty romance. I thought that I might combust. You cannot miss this novel. Really, you can't. You are login to fall in deep with it and it will leave you waiting with bated breath for the next in the series.
