Another STELLAR and captivating read from J.R. Ward. This book took me a little longer to get through solely because I wanted to savor each and every page.
I ADORE Rhage. His and Mary's story is still one of my top in this series. Maybe THE top. This novel brought us back to them and I got to fall in love all over again. Don't get me wrong, there was a lot that needed to be mended in this book, but I LOVED it.
SO MUCH happened in this read too. I know that it happens with EVERY book in this series, but really, this one was super full of happenings. From the super sexy we all love, to the danger that we crave, this book had it all. And to top it all off? An ending that brings THE FEELS.
You have been warned.
This novel brought back the feel of the first few in the series. I let like it focused a bit more on the characters we wanted and Ward went back to her roots in writing.
You need to read this book. IF you even like the first books a TINY bit, then you will love this one.
