SO GOOD!

Okay, I hope that you have read The consequence of Colton, but if you haven't you will still be able to love this. Just not as much, as if you have read the first novel in this fantastic standalone series. MAX! We all all up in the life of Max and he is getting exactly what he needs. A hefty dose of revenge. I DIED reading this novel. While book one was funny and sweet in its own, this novel was absolutely hilarious. I swear I didn't stop laughing once I started it. It had its tender moments like any RVD novel does, but it was all about the MAX and he does nothing small or quietly. Max is a millionaire. He is also driving his friends crazy. The perfect solution is to sign him for a dating reality show. Enter Becca. Becca is in this for the prize at the end. She has no real interest in Max. This could work well for both of them. Except it doesn't. Things can't go smoothly when you put Max, competition, and love in the mix. Like a good romantic comedy, this novel gives us everything we desire in a book. We get the romance, we get the comedy, we get the odd little quirks that make you fall head over for the book, and we get the HEA. The book doesn't disappoint at all. I don't need to persuade you to read this. You will do it because you loved the first novel and you know it will be just as epic.

Synopsis:

After losing his best friend to another guy, the notoriously too-confident Max Emory suddenly feels lost. He may have devastatingly good looks, an abundance of charm, and a claim to one of the biggest hotel empires around, but he has no ambition anymore. So when his fed-up friends decide they’ve had enough of his moping, they sign him up to be the next bachelor on the reality series Love Island. And between his pride and his forged signature on an ironclad contract, Max just can’t say no. Now he’s stranded in paradise with twenty-four women, one terrifying goat, and Becca, the breathtaking barista who already turned him down back home. The closer Max gets to Becca, the more determined he becomes to win her over. As she gets to know him better, things start heating up. But is Becca really after Max’s heart—or is she after the cash prize she could claim once the cameras stop rolling?
