At the end of the day this was another addictive read from JEM that I am left at the end just wanting more! I can't wait for book two.
With that being said, I did have a little trouble getting into the read. The character starts with celebrating her 30th birthday and the age is what I had some issues with. Though she is 30, I felt like she acts impulsive like a teenager at some points. Once I threw her age out the window and just read her as a character with no labelled age, I felt much better about it and connected a lot better with the read.
I don't know about you but I am on as big of a Royal Reading kick as absolutely possible and it was completely on accident, haha. I love the romance of a prince or princess and this novel delivered that.
I also loved the heat in this book. You know with a JEM read that you are going to get sexy and it is going to be HOT. This novel? Took is to a completely different level and I really enjoyed how the characters developed.
AND THAT ENDING. IF I was unsure of the book, that ending sealed that I was on board and dying to read the next novel. NEED IT NOW!
