Meg's Review:

Loved the first installment in this serial from Brooke Cumberland, The Intern grabs you from the start and sink its hooks in. I will be honest, I am not a huge fan of Serial novels in the least, but I AM a huge fan of Brooke so I gave it a shot. She did not let down. Cecilia ane her story literally grab you from that first page. It left me definitely hooked and highly intrigued as to where this novel is going to go. Cecilia is also that snarky and smart type of character that I instantly like.

"I'm not your "typical" high school girl. I don't want to wave pom-pons around, wear short skirts to her boys to notice me, or even bury my head in a books studying. I;m not any go those, so if that's what you hoping to get, it's time to adjust your expectations."

Then we just in and meet Mr. Hot and Handsome. Bentley. He is exactly what you think, and from there? Things escalate. Bentley isn't what I expected and I found that refreshing. I also love how uncensored he is. Kind of a blatant honesty.

"My jaw twitches at the innuendo she's just put in my head. I try not to stare at her, but the way her soft, pink lips are perking up at me makes it hard to tear my eyes away."

This is a quick read, but a great one. If you aren't a fan, or are unsure? Give it s shot. It won't disappoint.

Synopsis:

She’s sexy, fierce, and a loud-mouthed know-it-all…and she’s completely off limits.

Cecilia isn’t your typical college student. Hell, she isn’t a college student at all, but that doesn’t stop her from applying for one of the biggest and prestigious enterprises in the Midwest.

She wants it. She takes it.
She doesn’t let anything get in her way when it comes to finding out the truth.

When Bentley Leighton, soon-to-be CEO of Leighton Enterprises, meets “Ceci,” he’s instantly impressed. He doesn’t have time to train a new intern. However, when he sees her that first day, his intentions begin to change.

He’s the boss. She’s the intern.
Nothing can happen. It’s against the company rules.

Then again, rules were made to be broken.

What starts as innocent flirting becomes raveled up into so much more—secrets, lies, deceit.

*The Intern is a three-part romantic suspense serial.*
Not suitable for readers under 18.

Vol. 2 to be released June 11, 2014
