The Long, Hot Summer by Kathleen MacMahon

Sooooo, this was totally not my typical read, so this will be short. I did enjoy the novel. It was a different sort fo read and fun to spend an afternoon on. The novel follows different members of a family through a summer. They each tell their won experiences and you get to kind of see life through their eyes. It was a novel about the ins and outs of a family and all the chaos that either makes of breaks it. The Long, Hot Summer is the type of book that would make a great indie film. Sorry folks, thats all I have got. If you love contemporary fiction, than this is your jam. Plenty of laugh, a few shocks, and as always, a good dose of tears. Add To Your Goodreads Buy On Amazon:
