My Review:

Georgia's life is a story of horror. From her childhood to present day the events that occurred all those years ago still haunt her and influence her daily life. Even if she doesn't know it. She is missing the thing that will truly fix her. True Love. On a whim she buys a house and decides to make her dream a reality on the Carolina Coast and in that act she seals a change in her fate. She is forcing herself to face her past even if she doesn't know it. Living with her two best friends is a dream back to college. Georgia is truly happy for the first time in a long time. Even if she is away from her ever absent boyfriend. Life is treating her well and she is finally starting to feel at home. Hello Mr. Tristan.Tristan is a game changer. Though he is a man whore and sometimes the player even when begin nice, he is the beacon of light for Georgia. He is Gorgeous and wonderful and complicated. Georgia has been with Kyle since she was a young child and her life turned upside down. But is he her future? She needs to take a big look at her life and see what she really wants. Georgia drove me a little batty with her inner dialogues that never made it outside her head. I wish that she has just said everything she was feeling, but then that wouldn't be real would it. That is not how we all typically act and I also kinda loved that aspect of her. I got deep into the mix with Kyle and Tristan. My head just was in shambles trying to help Georgia decide even though my opinion meant nothing. It was a complicated choice but in the end I was on the ride with her the entire time. I could not be more excited to see where the next book leads us. This was a great read and definitely a top for my this summer.

Synopsis:

Haunted by a painful past, Georgia Montgomery escapes the memories by buying a beach house on the North Carolina coast. She hopes a summer filled with sun, sand, margaritas and best friends will heal her, but when an unexpected visitor shows up, her past, present and future collide. Georgia is instantly drawn to Tristan Howell, the bronze-skinned, golden-haired stranger with an easy smile and eyes the deepest shade of green she's ever seen. She tries to deny the depth of her feelings for him, but just like an addiction- one look, one touch, one taste is never enough. With Tristan she loses control of the lonely world she's constructed for herself and learns that moving forward isn't possible while she's still chained to the events of her past. Before the summer is over friendships will be tested, hearts shattered and lives changed, and waiting for Georgia to find herself may destroy them all.
