My Review:

Ava doesn't know what she is getting herself into when she goes to The Manor for a consult. From that decision on, her decisions are all influenced by one man. This Man. Jesse Ward. The instant chemistry is palpable. Jesse wants her, and even if she doesn't realize/or admit it, she wants him too. All of him. Even the crazy possessiveness. He goes farther than is rational in his endeavors to get Ava and honestly I kinda loved it. He was slightly infuriating and sometimes a little crazy, but you could see how much he wanted her. This book was a lot of chase and more chase but I still really enjoyed it. It took me the first chapter to get hooked and from that point I really enjoyed it. Sex, parties, wine, shopping, lots of flowers, and epic text messages ensue. Ava drove me a little batty. I felt at some points that she really just needed to make a decision for herself. She asked people their opinions a lot, or at some points she just didn't do anything. I felt had she asked for advice and taken it, or just opened her eyes, things would have gone smoother, but alas her childish antics did make for a great story. I can't wait to get to book two and see where it goes.

Synopsis:

Young interior designer Ava O’Shea has an appointment for a first consultation at The Manor with the owner, Mr Jesse Ward. She is expecting nothing more than an overweight, cravat wearing, well-to-do countryman, and on arrival, nothing would suggest otherwise. How wrong could she be? This Man is devastatingly handsome, charming and confident. He is also a conceited, hedonistic playboy, who knows no boundaries. Ava desperately does not want to be attracted to him, but she can’t control the overwhelming affect he has on her. Every instinct is telling her to run, so she does, but Jesse Ward is not so willing to let her go. He wants her and is determined to have her. She knows she is heading for heartbreak, but how can she run when he won’t let her?
