UGH THIS BOOK! I am a few days behind the curve, but this book was amazing. Legit I started it during my son's nap time and read it well into dinner. I couldn't stop. I LOVED the characters and in true Tijan fashion I was thoroughly entrapped in the storyline.
I love a good story that also has GREAT characters and this novel delivered that in spades. I adored the secondary characters and honestly would read books about each of them and not be bored at all. They were fantastic. Then we had Kennedy and Shay. I don't think I have ever loved a heroine more in this genre. She was everything I love about a dystopian heroine, thrown into a NA novel. It was perfection.
Then we had Shay. He was cocky and quick witted and absolutely fantastic. I loved that as the novel we really got to know him as we got to know her. Then throw in the banter that we KNOW we will get with a Tijan novel, and I was one happy girl!

Synopsis:
Rule #1: No hot guys.
It might sound ridiculous. I get it. It kind of is, but college was supposed to be my sanctuary. It was my place to start over. The rumors, the whispers, and the jealousy I endured through high school would all be gone.
No one would know me at college.
Rule #2: No drama.
I’d major in pre-law. I’d make a few loyal friends. Everything would be easy breezy. No one was going to use me or hurt me. I wouldn’t let them.
Rule #3: New year. New place. New me.
Right?
Wrong.
And all because of Shay Coleman.
Football captain and quarterback, he was the big guy on campus. The cocky guy in my political science class with a smirk. I hated him on sight . . .
. . . and he was about to break all my rules.
