This was a big change of pace for Stacey. If you are familiar with her other works then you will agree, if not then go buy her other books, because you want those too. An extraterrestrial story about finding love and saying to hell with the consequences. This is a novel that wraps you up in its unique storyline, exceptionally addictive characters, and fantastic dialogue. I don't know about you but when I feel like my characters are speaking monotone throughout a story it turns me totally off from it. Stacey has a knack for having not only fantastic banter with her characters, but equally entertaining inner monologues. After coming to this world to find salvation, all these brothers are suppose to do it exist. They must not involve themselves more than necessary with the humans per their agreement with the government. This hasn't been a problem until now. A story about true love. Destiny. I am not a fan of insta-love, or making love related choices without question, and this story gives you the perfect blend of falling in love slowly, while it also being a spilt second event. We not only get the build up, but we also get that instant spark that cannot be ignored. Stacey hooked me on her writing with her first series, and this one certainly solidified her standing as one of my top favorite authors. There is just something about the way she crafts a world around you that makes you never want to leave. I can't wait for the next novel! Annabelle and Kaden definitely had their work cut out for them and the journey certainly isn't over for this family.
