Unlocking Fear by Kennedy Layne

Another surprise read from Inkslinger PR that knocked me off kilter! Loved it! Sometimes I need a change of pace and this was that for me!

This had me right from the start. I love jumping in and solving a mystery and this novel has you turning page after page to figure this one out. I loved that this book focused on the story and the romance/relationship wasn't in the forefront. This novel felt like a very natural progression with both the mystery portion and the romance. As my first read for this author, I was definitely hooked. I am looking forward to seeing where it goes next in this series and what we get next. Kennedy has a talent for the mystery suspense and I am a growing fan of it. There were so many twists that I didn't see coming and now towards the end that really knocked me down. I typically can see where books are going and this one kept me on my toes.
