Not all MC novels are created equal. There, I said it. This is one of those that shines above the rest. I have pretty high standards when is comes to these types of reads, Juli Valenti's Poet and all of Kristen Ashley's novels are just some of those I hold in the highest regard. I suppose I absolutely MUST make room for this series as well because it is 100% deserving.

Okay. Deacon. SWOON. I absolutely loved his character in this novel. He starts off as one thing, and as the story progresses he develops into one of those characters you don't want to turn away from. I was devastated when he book as over because that meant no more Deacon. He has his faults like any other character, but it was quite the journey to watch him grow and in the end the little things were what made him what he was. I haven't really talked about the story itself have I. Okay. This was GREAT. On a scale of 1 to "I Must Live In This World" it scored on the high end. The moment Willow comes into Deacon's life things change drastically. He has to go from being a bachelor, to a father. Or, well, some semblance of a father. It is a learning curve and with Willow he has his work cut out for him. Throw Alexandra into the mix and it shapes u to be quite the adventure. This novel is a perfect blend of action scenes, smoldering scenes, and just scenes of pure love. I couldn't put the book down. I wanted the happy ending and I wanted it my way. Sadly these characters aren't mine and I didn't write the book, THUS I had to sit back and buckle up for this wild ride. This review is rambling. I am aware of this, sorry. The book is fantastic and I don't want to give away thing away. Go read it. Stat.
